Palliative of Freedom Dog Rescue Ottawa - Patrick enjoying the long awai...

One of our recent palliative addition Patrick is enjoying his time with his foster family in this nice spring weather. Patrick will be staying with Freedom care until the end of his days as Patrick was surrendered to a shelter in Quebec with no background information and was picked up by Freedom on St Patrick’s Day. He is one lucky dude! Patrick is loving, loyal, and still very playful at his ripe old age. He has some arthritis in his back legs but that doesn’t stop him from playing with his new best friend and foster brother Buddy, the lab mix. Patrick will be living out the rest of his life with his foster parents Kim and Scotty in the country where he can roll around in the grass and snow and play with his foster siblings Buddy, Stevie, and Joey. This guy is a real ‘good boy’ and he deserves the best! If you would like to be Patrick’s angel and sponsor his life care, please email us at finance@freedomdogrescue.ca

Foster of Freedom Dog Rescue Ottawa - Murkuleese enjoying life after hard start

Our sweet foster boy Murkuleese enjoying loads of bones and comfortable bed at his foster momma's house. Murkuleese was found in the lower town area of Ottawa freezing, starving, terrified with cigarette burns on his bum while tied to a fence with a seat belt strap. So when we met him he was completely emotionally shut down, kept his tail between his legs all the time, did not want to eat in our presence and was just scared of everybody and everything. It was really sad to see this…

Since he’s been living at his foster's house, with a lot of TLC of course, he has completely come out of his shell and is full of love and joy his tail wags all the time now and has turned out to be a very

lovable dog!
