Freedom Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization which was founded in Ottawa in February 2015. We are an all-breed, all-size foster based rescue which operates in Ottawa and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs, dogs from shelters and taking in desperate owner surrenders when they can no longer care for them.

Meet Maya
Maya is a gorgeous 4 year old brindle beauty.
When she came into care she was not very great with other dogs and now she is selective and has come such a long way. She has been sharing her foster home with all ages and breeds of dogs.
Maya would do best in a home as an only dog or a dog that will respect her space.
Maya cannot be in a home with cats as she does love to play chase with them.
She loves to cuddle with her people and get belly rubs.
Maya can play outside for hours with her foster siblings, especially playing chase.
We do recommend that May be adopted into a home with older children that will give her space.
If you are looking for that loving companion who loved to snuggle Maya is the girl for you.
