Freedom Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization which was founded in Ottawa in February 2015. We are an all-breed, all-size foster based rescue which operates in Ottawa and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs, dogs from shelters and taking in desperate owner surrenders when they can no longer care for them.

Palliative of Freedom Dog Rescue Ottawa Storm Storm update Aug 2
Storm came into Freedom as an emergency intake. This poor sweet heart was having seizures, blind , grade 4/5 heart murmur and no use of back end. She was rush to Alta Vista Animal Hospital July 20th where she stayed for testing and observation. Storm was released into foster care July 22.
Potential diagnosis suspect meningitis, eosinophilic, mixed pleocystosis, tick borne.
Prognosis: could be due to viral, fungal

Freedom Dog Rescue Ottawa supporting Sash-Mar Helping Northern Dogs with the help of our friends K9 Sports Centre and Petra Slivka-Flagg. All proceeds from these two yoga events are to support the flights of more Northern dogs like these puppies and paying it forwards. Puppy zoomies time THREE! Two little pups just came from Manitoba Astrid and Magic showing how they play with their larger foster brother Rock from Dominican. The smaller pups are husky shep mixes and Rock is potcake however don't they all look so similar?! All are available for adoption however status subject to very quick changes as they are all puppies.

Storm (larger black white pup) is greeting her new foster brothers Jett and Steel (two smaller black pups) that just got off the plane from Manitoba.
Storm is the youngest Freedom palliative with stage 5 heart murmur. Her two new foster brothers are Mama Noelle's puppies! They are going to be at the puppy yoga over the weekend at Inner Soul Cycle Yoga and are up for adoption (status subject to change very quickly) Please contact the adoption email and team for more info on the adoption status of these pups.
