Freedom Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization which was founded in Ottawa in February 2015. We are an all-breed, all-size foster based rescue which operates in Ottawa and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs, dogs from shelters and taking in desperate owner surrenders when they can no longer care for them.

Palliative of Freedom Dog Rescue Ottawa Storm Storm update Aug 2
Storm came into Freedom as an emergency intake. This poor sweet heart was having seizures, blind , grade 4/5 heart murmur and no use of back end. She was rush to Alta Vista Animal Hospital July 20th where she stayed for testing and observation. Storm was released into foster care July 22.
Potential diagnosis suspect meningitis, eosinophilic, mixed pleocystosis, tick borne.
Prognosis: could be due to viral, fungal
